Founded by US Army special forces veteran Bobby Curley nearly a decade ago, NQTA aims to sustain and work towards trail development, maintenance, utilization, and improvements. This includes, but is not limited to:

Donation Amount Descriptions are examples of how donations may be used.
A $10 donation assists us in fueling our trail maintenance equipment for a day of stewardship work.
A $25 donation assists us with a half day of mapping on the the Tully trails or others
A $50 donation helps us purchase materials for trail blazing and signage, such as spray paint, posts, and small sign boards.
A $100 donation assists us in hiring a healer for our Hike + Heal events, or making and installing a trailhead sign with map.
A $250 donation assists us in purchasing materials for a trail kiosk, or the production of an NQTA trail map.
A $500 donation assists us in purchasing much needed power equipment, or providing a full Hike + Heal event to our region's veterans!
If you are 70-1/2 years old or older, you are eligible to donate to non-profits like NTQA up to $100,000 annually from your traditional IRA.
This process is called the Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) and has become very popular in the past few years as a tax saving strategy, especially since the standard deduction was greatly increased by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, making it much more difficult to obtain a tax break for donations to charity.
