Our Trailwhisperer Bobby is avalible to give information on trails you may be curious about, or could bring you out on the trails and show you new adventures!
Luke is the Barre disc golf association lead disc golf engineer, community organizer and leader.
Owen Smith will have an introduction into what is trail running, some basic knowledge of how they're broken up into mileage, proper shoes, hydration, energy supplements, a representative trail running map. Using the Feldmans Cutthroat Brook 16 mile trail system in the initial planning of the 1st Trail Running event of multiple miles choices. More to be announced soon!
Our fishing team is created by some of our team members here with NQTA. Mike, Jimmy, Ray, and Amanda look forward to holding events this year where we will be having an introduction to fishing on May 16th and more to be announced! Each team member brings a different aspect of fishing to learn. Mike specializes in fly fishing while Jimmy, Ray, and Amanda who enjoy spinning reel and baitcasting fishing!
From Mike: I took up fly fishing at 50 years old and fell in love with the sport the first time a trout hit my dry fly. I moved to Washington state for 17 years and fly fished all over the west coast including 105 days of fishing I. Yellowstone NP. Since returning to Massachusetts I have only fished in the swift river but as I settle into my new home I will begin to explore more rivers this summer.
In Spring NQTA will be unveiling with live biking events its completely stewardship restored 8.6 Tully bike trail with 4 new bridges.
Joe Carlson is involved with the American Legion Bike Club and looks forward to spreading information about upcoming events for our Veterans.
